Our Stocklist is constantly changing, so it's always worth keep a close eye on it in case something you are after pops up. We keep a huge range of exotic animals in stock at any one time - often more than we can have on display at any one point so it is a good idea to check up on here before visiting our store(s) so that you can ask if you don't see something that we claim to have in stock.

Buying From Us
Reptiles for Sale

We don't use an automated ordering service because we know how important it is to you to make sure you know that you're getting exactly what you want and that any animal you buy is happy and healthy. It also gives you the chance to ask us any background info on the animal and advise you on the care and any equipment you may need to make sure you don't let yourself in for than you bargained for!

Set Ups and Kits
Reptile Set Ups and Starter Kits

We have a huge range of various set ups and kits to suit all kinds of reptiles with optional upgrades and accessories! We have designed our set ups and kits to be as simple to use and maintain whilst not compromising on the equipment provided or the care they will offer your animals. Most kits come with a discount of up to 20% Off, compared to buying the components separately!

Reptiles Plus Facebook page

Our Facebook page is very active and we often post photos of the most recent animals and some of the stand out stunning ones. It is also a good way to get in contact with us both during and outside of opening hours to ask us questions and get help.

Boarding Service
Reptile boarding service

We personally know how difficult it can be to find someone willing (and capable!)to look after your menagerie while you're on holiday. We offer a boarding service for most reptiles and amphibians starting at £2 a day for snakes and £3 a day for lizards. We also offer a 50% discount on a second (and any subsequent) animal(s) that can share the same enclosure.

Media and Displays
Reptile displays

We welcome opportunities to provide animals and practical assistance for photography days, photo-shoots and other photography experiences and have found these to be highly successful in the past. Take a look at our recent collaboration with CaptiveLight Photography. Our experienced staff can help you choose the animals that will suit your requirements and can help to make sure that you don’t end up with animals that are a handful.

Who we are

We pride ourselves in the time and care we put into selecting the best animals for our shop and will always make sure our customers receive a quality and well cared for pet.

The animal's welfare is our prime concern, both when they are in our care and when they are in yours. Therefore we insist that every animal we sell goes to a suitable environment. We will also ensure that the animal's natural temperament, potential size and diet amongst other things are correct for you and your lifestyle. We encourage our customers to spend that extra bit of time when considering an animal to ensure it is the correct choice for them. Visit our "About Us" page for more information.

Tortoise Tables Vs Enclosed Vivariums
posted on 03 Mar 2015

It is a debate that has been ongoing for many years – whether to keep a tortoise in a table-top style enclosure or a wooden vivarium? The fact of the matter is that both enclosures can be made to be suitable for housing most species of tortoise and if set up correctly, neither option is right or wrong. However, we far prefer the use of enclosed wooden vivaria for housing tortoises and we thought we would take the time to briefly explain why.

Lizard not Eating

Anorexia is an all too common and frustrating problem encountered in reptile husbandry. Anorexia is a symptom, not a disease. Anorexia can be triggered by a host of issues and it can be difficult to narrow down the problem, however 9 out of 10 times the cause is husbandry related and once identified, can be resolved easily.

Tortoise vegetablesWith so many fruits and vegetables to choose from nowadays, it can be challenging to know which foods are most nutritional for your reptiles. We provide a small list of good and bad foods on our relevant care sheets, but this is far from extensive, so we thought that it would be a good idea to cover a wider range of fruits and vegetables, how beneficial they are and list some dangerous foods to avoid.
